If you’ve just purchased an airpod pair AirPods and are thinking about how to use them you will follow the steps below to Pair and connect AirPods on Windows 10 Laptop and Desktop computer.
AirPods can be connected AirPods via Windows PC
While AirPods are designed to function seamlessly when used with Apple Devices, they are in essence Bluetooth Headphones and can be linked and connected to any device that is not Apple which includes Windows computers.
All you need to do for using Apple AirPods with a Windows PC is pairing them with your PC using the steps in the following.
1. Pair AirPods and Windows PC
Place AirPods into the case for charging, shut the Lid and then wait for one minute. After 1 minute, you can open the Lid and follow the steps listed below to connect AirPods via Windows PC.
Navigate to Devices in Settings and Select Bluetooth along with other Bluetooth devices in the left-hand pane. In the right-hand side, you can enable Bluetooth and then click on the Add Bluetooth or other device option.
On the Add Device screen, click Bluetooth. Bluetooth option.
Then step is to press and hold the Setup button on the charging case to the point that Bluetooth Headphones appear on Add Device Screen.
Once AirPods are identified After that, select Headphone and then allow Windows to set up the needed drivers.
Once AirPods were added, you can click Done to quit the page.
Once AirPods are connected to Windows 10, they should be able to work seamlessly using YouTube, Netflix, Skype and many other Apps.
Remove or disconnect AirPods From Windows PC
You can at any time can unplug AirPods from your Windows 10 computer by going to “Bluetooth and Other gadgets” settings on the PC.
Click Settings, then Devices Select Bluetooth and Devices tabs on the left. In the right-hand pane, choose AirPods and then select disconnect or remove device depending on the need.
NOTE: If you are experiencing issues with AirPods and they’re not working with other devices, you can select the Remove Device Option.
